Course Pre-requisites
• 1st4Sport Level 2 Certificate in Coaching Football
• Have fully completed your FA Level 2 Action Plan
• The FA Youth Award Modules 1 and 2 OR
• UEFA B Licence and FA Youth Coaches Award
OR
• UEFA B Licence and FA Goalkeeping B Licence
Prior to certification for the qualification, you are required to:
Hold an in date FA Level 1 Introduction to First Aid in Football (formally known as The FA Emergency Aid)
Hold an in date completion certificate for The FA Safeguarding Workshop or the new FA Safeguarding for Coaches Workshop
Attend all workshops
Complete the course project
Conduct a 30 minute presentation of your project to your course colleagues and staff.

Active coaches working in the11v11, 9v9 or 7v7 game within competition structures

Course Content
The course of learning is made up of 18 guided learning, face-to-face workshops covering a range of topics linked to the England DNA, split into four blocks of learning, that cover the areas of How We Play, The Future Player, How We Coach and How We Support. You will also receive three support visits in between the blocks of learning to develop you in your own coaching environment.
By the end of this course, you will be able to:
• Develop your understanding of England DNA
• Refine your beliefs, values and coaching and playing philosophy
• Develop your players by designing practices that meet their technical and tactical, physical, psychological and social needs
• Understand the demands of the game and how to meet the needs of players as they build a deeper understanding of their various roles and responsibilities within the team
• Understand what relevant and effective practice looks like in both training and competition

The Learning Management System (LMS) is your new home for The FA Level 1, FA Level 2 & FA Level 3 coaching courses. LMS provides you with the ability to view available courses; enrol onto them and manage your online learning profile. Course specific content is available within your learning environment such as e-learning modules and details of your course face-to-face sessions.
Important Notice:
Do you have a Football Association Number (FAN) - check your FAN
Everyone who uses the LMS will require a FAN.
Steps if you do not have a FAN
Before you create a new FAN it is important to check if you already have one, this avoids duplication.

2. Once you have checked, and confirmed that you do not have a FAN you can go ahead and create one by selecting Register Now followed by completing all the required fields and selecting Submit details.
Once you have a FAN - logging in
Now you have your FAN you can log into the LMS by clicking here:
Next, select Sign In at the top of the page.
Enter your FAN ID and correct password followed by selecting Sign In.
