The Coaching Manual - Principle of Play - Creating Space

This CPD consists of both theory and practical. This CPD doesn't count towards your FA CPD hours.

Date & Time: 15th November 2021 19:00 - 21:30

Venue: Boston United FC, The Jakemans Community Stadium, Pilgrim Way, Wyberton, Boston, PE21 7NE

Delivered by: Martin Hunter

Cost: £10.00

What are the learning outcomes?

• Ability to define the principles of play

• Understanding of two principles, in-depth

• How to teach the principles at different age groups

• Understand how a training session looks in which players will be taught the principles of play

Overview of the session:

Martin Hunter will briefly define both the attacking and defending principles of play within the

game. He will then focus on two principles in more detail, helping coaches to understand how to

apply them with players of all ages. Martin will Identify when, and how to deliver the principles of

play, as well as 'best practice' training methods across different age groups (foundation, youth,

pre-adult, adult). Using the tools available with The Coaching Manual, Martin will generate,

configure, and demonstrate detailed session plans and activities, that allow coaches to teach

players the principles of play.
