Pressing

  • Coach Learning Outcomes:
    • Coach players to press as individuals and units.
    • Identify triggers to press and regain possession.

Marking

  • Coach Learning Outcomes:
    • Teach body position, distance, and awareness.
    • Develop individual and team marking strategies.



Night 2 - Monday 24th November 2025 


Challenging & Intercepting

  • Coach Learning Outcomes:
    • Timing and technique of tackles.
    • Reading play to intercept.

Covering & Recovering

  • Coach Learning Outcomes:
    • Encourage defensive support (second defender roles).
    • Transition to defend when possession is lost.
