The FA unveiled its England DNA philosophy with the ultimate aim of creating winning England teams. The framework consists of five elements: ‘Who we are’, ‘How we play’, ‘The future England player’, ‘How we coach’ and ‘How we support’ this FA Licensed Coaches Club Event is designed to introduce The England DNA to the local football workforce and explore how it links to the ‘grassroots game’

This workshop – ‘Developing Attacking Play in Possession’ – will outline the key principles around the in possession phase in a game and consider their application across different age groups.

By the end of the session you will:

  • Gain an understanding of the Principles of Play, and their importance to developing individual, unit and team performance.
  • Develop an understanding on the specific Attacking principles of the game of Football.
  • Gain an understanding of how Practice Design links with the principles of play.

 

The event is FREE and is for those coaching in Charter Standard Clubs in Leicestershire & Rutland. The night also serves as a Coach License Event for those who are members of the FA Coach License Club.
