THE FA Walking Football Referee Course
The FA Walking Football Referee Course is designed to equip new referees with the key skills and knowledge they will need to be able to referee affiliated matches safely and effectively. The course is designed for learners aged 18 and over who are new to refereeing or are an existing football referee looking officiate walking football.
FA Walking Football Referee Course Details:
Venue: Holmes Park, Dog & Gun Lane, Whetstone, Leicestershire, LE8 6FA
When: Tuesday 18th November 2025
Time: 9am-5pm
The course comprises of an online learning module of the Walking Football Laws of the Game, face-to-face training and a call back session. Learners must complete online learning before attending the face-to-face training. Standard safeguarding and referee registration are also followed in walking football.
Course Requirements Online Learning The course's online learning element has three sections (modules) and will take about 30 minutes to complete. There are videos to demonstrate how the Laws should be applied, activities to help reinforce the important points and, within each module, there are questions to test what learning has taken place.
