AGE APPROPRIATE COACHING FOR YOUNG PLAYERS

This is a taster session for the real thing.  The session will give the attendees an overview of the FA Youth Award Level 3 course.  We will start indoors with a short presentation on the theory and background before proceeding outdoors for the practical part.  Attendees will be expected to take part in the practical unless you have an injury.  The taster is aimed at coaches, at all levels, who wish to extend their knowledge of coaching young players.

The course will provide practical sessions and advice for coaches and will increase the candidate’s knowledge of how to develop their coaching to incorporate the FA 4 corner model.

The course will cover technical development and in the physical corner it will offer FUNdamental ideas for the coach to use as well as suggested activities for the development of football specific movements. The important Social and Psychological development of the young player is also examined.

This course is aimed at managers, coaches, young leaders and teachers who wish to extend their knowledge and experience in coaching children.
