As part of the Herefordshire FA Football Futures Day the Herefordshire FA Youth Council are offering 34 young leaders the fantastic opportunity to enhance their skills by participating in a series of workshop linked to the Football Futures Programme and The FA National Game.

Whether you are currently involved, or are considering taking up a role within football, the information provided will be the perfect introduction, refresher or enhancing way to add to your skills in creating your own football legacy.

Description

If you love football then this event is for you..…Young people aged 12-24 who have an interest in volunteering.  This course provides a basic introduction to leadership skills required when involved in areas football. The day will primarily introduce 4 Workshops:  Coaching CPD, Refereeing CPD, Mash Up & TEAM 16 and Empowering Youth.  The day will consist of plenty of practical involvement and opportunities for a kick about with your mates!

Course Aims & Objectives

The four workshops during the day link into The FA Football Futures programme. Workshops are tailored around participant’s interests and stage of development, but will also provide some NEW elements to the County Football Futures Day! Workshops provide learners with an introduction to Leadership skills that may be used within the game and beyond. As part of signing up to the Herefordshire Football Futures Day Young Leaders s shall be given the gifts of a T-shirt to participate in during the day. They shall also be provided with tools, resources and information to further their development.

Cost of the course is £5.00 per candidate.
