Mentoring Series - Module 1 NORTH

Join us as we deliver our Mentoring Series


The mentoring series has been developed to support coaches within clubs mentoring other coaches to develop best practice for the football provisions at their clubs. The series of workshops will be split across 4 modules and has been developed to equip coaches with various mentoring strategies based around 6 fundamental pillars for effective mentoring.

This CPD can be applied to all formats of the game from 5v5 to 11v11.


Mentoring Series - Module 1

Date: Wednesday 3rd May 2023 

Time: 7.00pm – 9:00pm

Location: Winklebury Football Complex, Basingstoke, RG23 8BF.

Who for? Individuals who are looking to support coaches within their clubs


Deliverers: 

  • Dan Piper - FA Club Coach Mentor 

Format:

Module 1 will be delivered as a face to face workshop at Stoneham Lane on Monday 24th April and Winklebury Complex on Wednesday 3rd May

Module 2 will then be delivered via Microsoft Teams with both North and South County cohorts

Module 3 will be face to face at Stoneham Lane and Winklebury Complex

Module 4 on Microsoft Teams.


All coaches who complete all 4 modules will then receive an invite to attend St Georges Park the home of England Football for a workshop led by National Mentor Developers followed by a tour of the complex (date to be confirmed).


Workshop Outcomes:

  • Inspire, inform and develop a cohort of passionate new club coach mentors
  • Gain an insight into the challenges and journeys faced by coaches and how to support them
  • Learning what support you have and how you can develop as an individual.

Additional Information:

  • This workshop will be split into classroom and practical sessions. More information will be sent out in the reminder email a week prior to the event.
  • Please bring sports attire, water bottles, pens and notepad. (desirable, not mandatory)
