Club Comets & Disability CPD


This workshop will bring to life the what the Comets programme looks like. In addition this will be bolted onto some Disability coaching support delivered by The FA. This event is designed for new comers and individuals already working in this space, to gain further support.

Time: 6:00pm – 8:00pm

Location: Applemore School, Roman Rd, Dibden Purlieu, Hythe, Southampton SO45 4RQ

Workshop Purpose:

  • What is Comets and what does it look like?
  • What challenges do you face from a coach perspective delivering Comets?
  • What specific needs your players may have and how to grow your toolkit to support them


Additional Information:

  • This workshop will be classroom & potentially practical based. For this event we believe it is best to use the coaches as the participants, to enable a rounded education approach. We ask you to bring suitable sports attire in order to take part.
