Course Duration: 30 Hours
Assessment: Circumstances Dependent
Course Pre-requisites to registration and certification:
Prior to registration for the qualification, learners are required to:
- be at least 16 years of age
- Have attended The FA Level 1 in Coaching Football course, and hold the 1st4sport Level 1 Award in Coaching Football qualification
Prior to certification for the qualification, learners are required to:
- hold as a minimum a current FA Emergency Aid Certificate
- hold a current completion certificate for The FA Workshop Safeguarding Children in Football (Alternative arrangements are available for learners under the age of 18 years of age).
Course aims and objectives:
This nationally recognised qualification, awarded by 1st4sport Qualifications will allow the learner to go a journey through the How We Coach block of the FA Level 2. Block 1 will cover the following areas; Introduction and Review Level 1, Role of the Coach & Coaching Philosophy, Communication Skills (Social Corner), Helping Players Learn (Psych/Social), Motivation (Psych), Self Esteem (Psych), The Practice Spectrum (4C), Skills Development (4C/LTPD).

Thursday 3rd November 2016 - 6-9.30pm
Friday 4th November 2016 - 6-9.30pm
Saturday 5th November 2016 - 9-5pm
Thursday 10th November 2016 - 6-9.30pm
Friday 11th November 2016 - 6-9.30pm
Saturday 12th November 2016 - 9-5pm
This course is Block 1 of the Level 2 course only.
All 3 Blocks must be completed to gain your FA Level 2.
Block 1 is the equivalent to the Youth Award Module 1.
