Course Information:
- Minimum Age: 16
- Course Duration: 3 hours
- Course Prerequisites: None
- Course aims and objectives:
- Have an understanding of the fundamentals of Futsal
- Have an understand of the techniques and basic principles of Fitsal
- Have an appreciation of the Laws of the Game of Futsal
Course Content:
Theory: The course will introduce some key aspects in the following:
- What is Futsal?
- Differences between 5 a-side and Futsal
Practical: Practical elements of the course will provide an introduction to:
- Game play
- The techniques of Futsal
- Game of Futsal
- Principles of play
- Rules of Futsal
Practical Involvement: Candidates will be encouraged to participate practically to maximise their opportunities for learning. (This however will not prevent successful completion of the award)
Assessment: Candidates will be formatively assessed throughout the course.
Refresher: No refresher required.
