Referee Development Day
The Derbyshire County FA are hosting a Referee Development Day at Belper Town FC on Sunday 28th August 2016. Registration will open at 9:30am for a 10am start and the day will finish at 4pm.
This is a fantastic development opportunity for referees of all levels, ages and abilities within Derbyshire.
There will be an update on the laws of the game so that referees can keep up to speed with amendments. This will be alongside interactive practical and theory sessions delivered by Senior County Officials, information on how to write discipline reports and an opportunity to pose questions to a panel of experts.
The practical sessions will be as follows:
Session 1
• Fitness and Positioning (Outdoor)
• Advantage (Outdoor)
• The Stepped Approach (Indoor)
Session 2
• Free kick/Penalty kick management (Outdoor)
• Communication (Outdoor)
• Selling Decisions (Indoor)
Session 3
Assistant Refereeing
Referees taking part in the practical sessions will need to bring referee equipment (whistle/cards/flags etc.) along with appropriate clothing. They will also need to bring a drink.

Time: Registration from 9:30am, the event will start at 10am and will finish at 4pm.
