Pete Sturgess, National FA Coaching Lead for players aged 5-12, will be visiting Cornwall for a the second phase of his England DNA Foundation Stage Roadshow

When: Tuesday 12th March 2019

Where: Brannel School, Rectory Road, St Stephen PL26 7RN

Time:  6.30pm - 9.30pm

This CPD event for our coaches is based around the Foundation Phase and England DNA. Pete has been pivotal in the design and development of the England DNA Foundation phase and is currently on his second tour of the country to promote and help implement this fantastic resource. The Foundation Phase resources and supporting CPD event are designed to help coaches, parents and volunteers with the development of our youngest players (aged 5-11) at all levels of the game.

Pete will be supported at this event by our FA County Coach Developer Chris Morris to introduce key messages and principles for young players through a mix of:

Theory presentations

Practical demonstrations and activities

Q&A

This is a great opportunity for coaches from across Cornwall to receive some guidance and support on the England DNA which underpins some of the great work already in place that supported our U17’s and U20’s 2017 World Cup winning teams and will benefit coaches from all age groups
