APPLICATION FOR PROMOTION – SEASON 2017/18

Level 5-4

 

 

(Referees need to have been refereeing for at least one full season at Level 5).

 

I understand that I will have to fulfil the following criteria for promotion and will endeavour to attain the standards expected by the CCFA Promotions Committee.

 

1.      Register with Cheshire County FA by 1st May 2017.

2.      Pay the application fee of £50 at the time of application.

3.       Successfully complete nomination fitness test.

4.       Referee a minimum of 20 games – at least 15 of these on an adult Saturday League between 1st March 2017 and the 28th February 2018.

5.       Complete 5 games as an Assistant Referee.

6.       Obtain 5 observations with a minimum average mark set by the FA.

7.      (NB: Should you not receive 5 observations then you need a minimum of 3 observations, whilst also finishing in the top 50% of club marks). This will only apply in extreme cases where factors outside our control make it impossible for you not to receive 5 observations.

8.      Have an excellent level of administration.

9.      Be available for Cheshire County FA appointments as required.

10.  Send monthly appointments and any changes to the Observer Co-ordinator.

11.  Attend a professional discussion in 2018 to which you will be invited to discuss the promotion requirements.

12.  Have a nomination accepted by The FA.

 

Any official hoping to be promoted from Level 5-4 only does not need to attend the promotion seminar on 20/05/2017 however will need to attend an FA Promotion Seminar.
