The FA Welfare Officer Workshop
To enrol onto a Welfare Officer Workshop, you must meet the pre-requirements which are:
- An accepted and current FA CRC Check (Candidates minimum must have started their CRC)
- A FA Safeguarding Children Workshop Qualification
- Be 18 Years old or above
Note: Current being defined as within 3 years of issue

The FA Safeguarding
This course is required for clubs who have any form of youth football (U18's and below) at their establishment. They must have at least one nominated Child Welfare Officer at their club to be affiliated with the County FA and meet Government legislation.
Also, new clubs looking to affiliate/register can also use this course to meet the requirements before creating the club. If you need assistance in affiliating for youth football please contact (Mandy.Garner@birminghamfa.com) who can provide information about setting up a new youth club.

Cost of Workshop: £25.00
Date: Monday 23rd April 2018
Time: 6.30pm-9.30pm
Venue: Birmingham County FA, Ray Hall Lane, Great Barr. B43 6JF
This is a classroom based course; you will not need to wear any football sportswear, boots or equipment to complete this course. However you will need a pen, wear suitable clothing and may need to bring some refreshments for this 3 hour course.
