As part of the new BBFA Coaches Network, we will offer coaches the opportunity to continue their development with both virtual and face-to-face workshops. Please find below information regarding this workshop:

Why our Players Play

Questions this workshop will aim to answer: 

1) What games and practices can I provide that give players the joy of scoring and stopping goals? 

2) How can I help players to learn and understand more about the game? 

3) How might I use football as a vehicle for developing social skills?  

What can coaches expect to take away?

1) Strategies to understand why our players play. 

2) Example games that could be used to help players love football. 

3) Reflected on their coaching behaviours and the impact on player motivation

After attending the workshop, 2 hours of Coach Development will be added to your FAN record.

The BBFA Coaches Network will be a platform available for coaches to access a variety of topics in both a virtual and face-to-face setting with workshops and sessions being delivered by The FA Regional Coach Development Team and our much-valued workforce of local deliverers. After attending sessions and workshops you will also have access to via our Community Group to resources including sessions plans and to also network with us a County FA and other coaches from across the region giving you the opportunity to share best practices and ideas.
