Ongoing learning is important for coaches to continue their development as grassroots coaches. Across the season we will be running a series of workshops to support coach development. Please find below information regarding this workshop:

Introduction to Delivering a Coaching Session

This face-to-face practical workshop compliments the FA Introduction to Coaching Football course and is ideal for beginners/new coaches who want to build confidence in planning and delivering sessions to create safe, fun and enjoyable environments or for those wishing to run a team.

Who it's for: 

Beginner/novice who has just started their coaching journey. Anyone wishing to run a team in a safe, fun, enjoyable environment.

What to expect: 

Showcasing fun, safe and engaging sessions to help kick-start your coaching journey.

Outcomes: 

Observe a Coach Developer creating a positive environment.

Discuss how to manage differences effectively using STEP.

Explore key learnings within your own context.

Date: Sunday 20th October 2024 

Time: 2pm-4:30pm

Cost: FREE (£10 Deposit)

FA CPD Hours: 3 accredited CPD hours (Coaches Level 1 to 3)

Please note that if this CPD Event should fall below 10 learners, the County FA reserves the right to cancel the CPD Event without prior notice and re-schedule for a later date.

The event is FREE with a £10 deposit to secure your place which will be returned to everyone who attends the Conference.  

NOTE: The deposit is non-refundable for those who do not attend the Conference. If you book onto the Conference and then decide you do not wish to attend, we will only process refunds within 48 hours of your original booking. Deposits will be returned to attendees 7-10 working days after the Conference via BACS Transfer.
