Berks & Bucks FA are pleased to confirm the 2024 BBFA Young Referee Conference is taking place this July! 

The Conference takes place on Sunday 21st July at SportsPark at the University of Reading, RG6 6DJ Reading, 11am-4pm and is the BBFA's first conference specifically for Young Referees. 

The Conference will include workshops on Assistant Refereeing, effective communication both on and off the pitch and a session on Misconduct writing and how to structure your report. Lunch will also be provided.

10:45am- Arrival

11am- Start of Conference & Introduction

11:10am- Practical Workshop #1- Assistant Refereeing 

12:00pm- Practical Workshop #2- Whistle Tone and Card Technique

13:00pm- Lunch

13:30pm- Indoor Workshop - Effective Communication

14:10pm- Indoor Workshop- Misconduct report writing 

14:30pm- Keynote Speech- Football League Assistant Referee - Kevin Howick

15:30pm- Q&A with Kevin 

16:00- Close 

The event is FREE with a £10 deposit to secure your place which will be returned to everyone who attends the Conference.

NOTE: The deposit is non-refundable for those who do not attend the Conference. If you book onto the Conference and then decide you do not wish to attend, we will only process refunds within 48 hours of your original booking. Deposits will be returned to attendees 7-10 working days after the Conference via BACS Transfer.
