Berks & Bucks FA are pleased to confirm the BBFA Coaches Conference is back and is taking place this July!!

The Conference takes place on Saturday 20th July at the Select Car Leasing Stadium, Reading, 10am-4pm. The Conference is being delivered in partnership with Reading FC Community Trust and we are delighted to welcome coaches to the event.

At the Conference we will be delivering TWO practical Coach Development (CPD) workshops giving coaches the opportunity to continue their personal development and importantly supporting the development of their players. The workshops are being delivered by FA Regional Coach Development Officers, Vicky Fisher & Vincent Halsall. 

We are also delighted to welcome Reading FC First Team Manager Rubén Sellés who be sharing his own coaching journey, offering his insight at the top level and there will also be opportunity for coaches to ask Rubén a question. 

The event is perfect for all coaches of all levels to continue their development and importantly have the opportunity to network and engage with other coaches from across the County.      

The Conference will provide all FA Qualified Coaches (Levels 1 to 3) with 6 hours CPD for the 2024/25 season. The event costs £25 including lunch and refreshments and if you book by 9am on Friday 21st June, save £5 with our £20 early bird offer.

The workshop aims to equip coaches and educators with the knowledge, skills, resources and inspiration to deliver engaging and developmentally appropriate grassroot coaching sessions using small-sided games.

Developing on the Pitch

The workshop will support you to take the next step on your coaching journey as we navigate you through: Coaching Skills, Different Formats of the Game, Principles of Play, Use of the STEPs Coaching Tool & The 6 Key Capabilities.
