Ongoing learning is important for coaches to continue their development as grassroots coaches. Across the season we will be running a series of workshops to support coach development. Please find below information regarding this workshop:


How to Deliver Engaging Coaching Sessions for 7 to 11 year olds


Who is it for? Anyone wishing to run a team in a safe, fun, enjoyable environment. 


The aim of this workshop is to explore:


1- Understanding the characteristics and experiences of 7-11 year olds

2- The use of age-appropriate game/practice design to enhance young player enjoyment and understanding

3- How to enable your young players to become more skilful in possession and out of possession


Date: Sunday 2nd February 2025

Time: 10am-12pm

Venue: Arborfield Green Leisure Centre, Sheerlands Rd, Arborfield, Reading RG2 9GB

FA CPD Hours: Two accredited CPD hours (Coaches Level 1 (I2CF) to 3 (UEFA B)
