AFA and London FA are joining forces once again to put on another Club & League Welfare Officer CPD and networking event.

Following the success of the previous event, we have organized another session for our welfare officers. 

This will be a great opportunity for YLWO's, CWO's and Assistant CWO's to receive important safeguarding updates from the county as well as interacting and sharing best practice.

London FA will also be introducing the newly formed Youth Council.

The topics covered across the evening will include:

-Discipline Process
-FA’s Whistleblowing Policy
-County Thresholds – Poor Practice and Safeguarding

We are also delighted to announce that former Arsenal and England striker, Kelly Smith MBE will be our guest speaker. Kelly will be holding a Q&A session to speak about her own journey from grassroots football to her exceptional professional career both domestically and on a national level. Kelly now uses her profile to raise awareness about Mental Health and encourages others to speak out.

Those in attendance will have an opportunity to put questions to Kelly and learn from her experiences.
