Course Dates and Further Information

Modules 1,2 and 3 of this course start on a Thursday evening, continue over two full day weekend sessions (one Saturday and one Sunday) and finish on a Thursday evening as follows:

Thursday 4th November,    7.00 pm to 9.30 pm
Saturday 6th November,    9.00 am to 4.00 pm
Sunday 14th November,    9.00 am to 4.00 pm
Thursday 18th November,  7.00 pm to 9.30 pm

The venue is Kew Association Football Club in Richmond, Surrey.  The football club has parking spaces available.  Coming along the A307, Petersham Road, turn into Sandy Lane then go right into Ham Street and then left into Riverside Drive. The ground is 200 yards on the Right Hand side.

The nearest mainline railway stations are Richmond and Kingston which are both on the main line from Waterloo station.  The club can be reached by bus from either of these stations.

From Richmond station take any of the following buses:  H22 going to Hounslow Bell Corner, R68 towards Hampton Court, R70 The Avenue or 490 Hampton.  Get off at Crown Road Richmond Road, Stop T.  From Kingston station take Bus 65 towards Ealing Broadway to Petersham Fox and Duck Public House.  The ground is a 15 minutes walk from the Bus Stop turning into Sandy Lane then going right into Ham Street and left into Riverside Drive.

The course includes practical outdoor demonstrations which will take place on the Club playing field.

The examinations will be held on the second Thursday.  Once through the examinations candidates go on to Module 4 - completing their initial six 11-a-side matches.  We arrange for each candidate to have a mentor at this stage - an experienced referee who can provide advice and support.  There is no deadline within which the 6 matches have to be completed.

Once the 6 matches are completed candidates attend a module 5 session when they receive their certificates.  Dates have not yet been set for module 5 meetings - they will be arranged as and when candidates are ready to receive their certificates as qualified level 7 or level 8 (under 16) referees.

Please note that course fees are not refundable once a booking is made.

If you would like more information before making a booking please email:
