Course Dates and Further Information

The course dates and times are as follows: 

    
Target Date for Module 5 (Review Session): Tuesday 27th November 2012 (7.00pm - 9.30pm).

Candidates must attend all sessions to complete the course.

Old Actonians Sports Club has limited parking spaces available. There is on-street parking near to the Club.

The nearest tube station is Acton Town on the Piccadilly Line.  The sports club is a 12 minute walk from the tube station.  Also bus route E3 has a stop near the sports club.

The course includes practical demonstrations which will take place on the club playing field. 

Examinations and Initial Six Matches

The examinations will be held on Tuesday 2^nd October. Once through the examinations candidates go on to Module 4 - completing their initial six matches as a referee. We arrange for each candidate to have a mentor at this stage - an experienced referee who can provide advice and support. The 6 matches should ideally be completed by the target date. If not completed within 18 months then candidates would need to re-take the course.

Once the 6 matches are completed candidates attend a module 5 session when they receive their certificates. Module 5 meetings are arranged regularly during the season for candidates who are ready to receive their certificates as qualified level 7 or level 8 (under 16) referees.

Cost

The course fee is £125 for all age groups.
