Workshop Content:
We have been working with The FA Facilities and Investment Team in partnership with the Institute of Groundsmanship  (IOG) to develop a grass pitch maintenance service that can be utilised by grass roots football clubs with the simple aim of improving the quality of grass pitches.  The key principles behind the service are to provide football clubs with advice and practical solutions on a number of areas with the simple aim of improving club playing surface.

Effective monitoring, inspection and assessment permits informed decisions to be made, targeting valuable resources correctly to gain maximum benefit. This interactive workshop will use a mixture of theory and practical content to look at correct assessment, post season renovations and close season management. The evening will also cover issues surrounding dual use sites providing cricket in the close season.

Equality: FA Learning will ensure that it treats people fairly and with respect and that it will provide access and opportunities for all members of the community to take part in, and enjoy, it's activities in an atmosphere free from harassment, bullying, discrimination or abuse. FA Learning will seek to provide a service which is appropriate to the needs of an individual and to make reasonable adjustments or provide support, where appropriate, to cater for those needs.
