Course Prerequisites: To gain a place on the Academy Managers' Licence, applicants must meet the stated criteria detailed below:
- Must hold a current FA Advanced Coaching Licence / UEFA A Coaching Award
- Must show evidence of commitment to working in youth football in either The FA Premier League, The Football League, a Football Academy or Centre of Excellence
Please Note: It is the requirement of The Football Association, The FA Premier League & Football League Rules that Academy Directors hold the FA Academy Managers Licence.

Students maybe required to participate in practical sessions. Students should come prepared and be physically fit when arriving on the course.
Please note that if a student has a disability that may prevent them participating actively in the practical sessions, then this should be made known to the course organiser at the point of registration. The course organiser will then take any necessary steps to cater for the student?s requirements which may include bringing in footballers to ensure there are sufficient numbers of players.
