Course pre-requisites: As a guideline learners must be at least 18 years old and hold The FA Psychology Level 4 or Level 5; be working in a Sports Performance Department.

Who is it for?: This workshop has been specifically designed for those people that already hold The FA Psychology Level 4 or 5 award, as well as Physical Performance and Medical staff working in a sports environment.

Levels 3, 4 and 5 coaches will be awarded with 5 hours of CPD for the 2015/16 season for their attendance at this workshop.

Course content: The workshop will include specialist presentations on the psychology of injury with guest speakers from the Royal Ballet and Leeds Metropolitan University.
There will be opportunity to build upon your existing knowledge and discuss best practice from your own environments.

Dress code: Standard dress code on the course is casual.

Medical information/physical requirements: If you have any medical conditions which limit/hinder your involvement or participation in coaching activities, you are obliged to declare any relevant, current or previous injuries/illnesses. If you are diagnosed as an asthmatic, diabetic or epileptic, or have any allergies that the course staff needs to be aware of, you must advise us accordingly. Please note, a declaration of injury or illness does not automatically preclude you from any course.

You should further be aware that if you are on a regular course of medication for any condition, you must have sufficient medication to cover you throughout the course. Although first aid cover is provided (where applicable) during courses, no doctor is available to replenish regular medication, nor is there any facility to deliver medical treatment for chronic (longstanding) medical conditions.

If your application to enrol is successful candidates will be required to complete a Medical Form prior to commencing the course.
