Course Overview:

The UEFA accredited FA Level 3 in Coaching Futsal is the third tier of the coaching ladder and offers learners both practical and classroom based sessions. These will focus on the effective application of the principles of play in the game and the development of specialist individual roles within the team.
Course pre-requisites: 
The FA Level 2 in Coaching Futsal
The FA Level 2 in Coaching Football
   
All learners MUST have regular access to players who train on a weekly basis and that have a regular games programme

Applications will be considered against the following priorities:

  • Working as a Head Coach or Assistant coach in a competitive national competition
  • Working as a Futsal Coach for a British University
  • Working with a Futsal Team on a regular basis
  • All coaches must have acquired the Level 2 award in Coaching Football and the Level 2 award in Coaching Futsal.

Who is it for?:

The course is for coaches who have regular contact with players who are playing Futsal on a regular basis in a competitive environment or who are building up towards a tournament or festival.

Course content:

To understand the tactics and strategy to play Futsal
To develop a squad of players individually and collectively to play Futsal. This will work across all four corners of L.T.P.D.
To be able to analyse play and develop a strategy to win matches
To be able to develop a playing and coaching philosophy that will help players to maximise their Futsal potential

Dress code:

Standard dress code on the course is casual. For practically based courses, please bring sufficient outdoor kit/clothing for the duration of the course. The venue ask that learners refrain from wearing muddy footwear inside the building.

Should the course require any alternative dress, this will be detailed in the course joining instructions. 

Medical information/physical requirements:

If you have any medical conditions which limit/hinder your involvement or participation in coaching activities, you are obliged to declare any relevant, current or previous injuries/illnesses. If you are diagnosed as an asthmatic, diabetic or epileptic, or have any allergies that the course staff needs to be aware of, you must advise us accordingly. Please note, a declaration of injury or illness does not automatically preclude you from any course.

You should further be aware that if you are on a regular course of medication for any condition, you must have sufficient medication to cover you throughout the course. Although first aid cover is provided (where applicable) during courses, no doctor is available to replenish regular medication, nor is there any facility to deliver medical treatment for chronic (longstanding) medical conditions.

 Please provide any relevant information regarding the above Medical Information during the application process.

 If your application to enrol is successful learners will be required to complete a Medical Form prior to commencing the course.   

Practical Information:

Please note that if a learner has a disability that may prevent them participating actively in the practical sessions, then this should be made known to the course organiser at the point of registration. The course organiser will then take any necessary steps to cater for the learners requirements which may include bringing in footballers to ensure there are sufficient numbers of players.

Filming and photography:
Please be aware that filming and photography of our courses and/or learners may take place as part of the course delivery. Such filming and/or photography may be used for the following purposes:
 
(i) to assist coaches at the club with their professional development;
(ii) for wider coach education purpose; and
(iii) for promotional purposes such as online advertising campaigns of our courses. We might also share this footage or photos with local and national media.


Enrolment:

To start your application, enter your FA Number (FAN) and password below. Applications will be considered after the application deadline. Should you be successful in gaining a place you will be sent an online payment link. Payment must be made 1 month prior to the start of the course otherwise your place will be offered to another learner.
