Brief outline of course
|
This workshop is designed to educate the learner in the theoretical and practical elements of the basic fundamentals of Futsal goalkeeping, this will then enable them to organise training sessions that will both challenge and give valuable new knowledge to the goalkeepers they work with.
Completion of this workshop will enable the learner to:
-Plan, organise and coach Futsal goalkeeping specific sessions both technically and functionally
-Understand the specific skill set required by the Futsal goalkeeper
-Understand the coaching process and how to develop and improve the Futsal goalkeepers’ technique
-Understand the significance of game related practices to give the goalkeeper an understanding of their role within the Futsal team
-Maintain the highest standards of conduct and coaching delivery to promote and develop the game of Futsal

Course pre-requisites
|
This course is for levels 1 and 2 coaches.
N.B: All coaches can of course attend this event; however CPD is only applicable for levels 1 and 2 coaches.

Refreshments and catering
|
This event is non residential and as such refreshments are not inclusive of the course price.
You are able to bring your own refreshments onsite, please be aware lunch will not be provided.

This event is a non residential course and as such accommodation is not provided.

Dress code and equipment
|
There will be both practical and theoretical elements to this course, please ensure you bring appropriate writing materials and dress accordingly (casual sportswear).
Changing and shower facilities are available onsite.

Physical requirements
|
Please note that if a student has a disability that may prevent them participating actively in the practical sessions, then this should be made known to the course organiser at the point of registration. The course organiser will then take any necessary steps to cater for the students requirements which may include bringing in footballers to ensure there are sufficient numbers of players.

Medical requirements
|
If you have any medical conditions which limit/hinder your involvement or participation in coaching activities, you are obliged to declare any relevant, current or previous injuries/illnesses. If you are diagnosed as an asthmatic, diabetic or epileptic, or have any allergies that the course staff needs to be aware of, you must advise us accordingly. Please note, a declaration of injury or illness does not automatically preclude you from any course.
You should further be aware that if you are on a regular course of medication for any condition, you must have sufficient medication to cover you throughout the course. Although first aid cover is provided (where applicable) during courses, no doctor is available to replenish regular medication, nor is there any facility to deliver medical treatment for chronic (longstanding) medical conditions.
Please provide any relevant information regarding the above Medical information when completing the medical form prior to the course commencing.
