Brief outline of course

Modern game tactical evolvement.
We all know and have witnessed a dynamic change in modern European football. Football is cyclic and continually evolving so we are pleased to present an FA Licensed Coaches’ Club CPD Event based around modern trends using the UEFA Champions League as a benchmark for football standards and a yardstick for coaches working within the game.
Barcelona's success in recent years provided a significant challenge to European clubs to develop players and formations capable of competing against them. Their game was driven around a neoteric advanced-pressing game and later developed into a crushing possession style that has now been outgrown by a disciplined German performance, paradoxically, highlighting a return to the classic 4-4-2. In this workshop we will review the ultra-organised, ultra-committed, cohesive defensive and attacking approach employed so successfully by Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund which has the potential to become the new force in European football and dominate over the Spanish possession-based tiki-taka style
